This little drawing (5X7 inches) was the result of an enjoyable afternoon spent at Wilson’s Point Historic Site yesterday during the annual Scottish Family Picnic. About 350 people attended…lots of music, a Bar-BQ, quilt show, face painting, a petting zoo and bouncy castle for the children. 5 artists from the Miramichi Art Core (including myself) were were on site. A fun afternoon for all who attended.
Rain started about 2:30PM and I had to put the sketch away before it got ruined….as it was, I was pretty well soaked by the time I had packed up and made it back to the car. But really….what’s some wet clothing and hair when the sketch survived!
